This five-day training and assessment course is your first step into the BASI Education System. This five-day course includes on-snow training and assessment specific to Telemark skiing, plus mandatory online modules to complete beforehand.
How to teach beginner and intermediate Telemark skiers
Fundamental techniques including lead changes and turn linking
Use of Alpine and Telemark technique on blue and red runs
Ongoing feedback and a personalised action plan to support your progression
You must:
Be able to ski basic Telemark and alpine turns on a blue run
Understand and perform lead changes from one Telemark turn to the next
Ski in control using alpine technique (parallel turns on blue and red runs)
Be at least 16 years old
